Frequently Asked Questions

What types of cooking classes are available in Provence?

Cooking class to learn how to make a traditional menu / make a complete menu with a starter, a main course and a dessert / Visit a market to buy fruits and vegetables and learn how to work with them with the chef / Do a pastry workshop to learn the greatest traditional French desserts / Do a pastry workshop focused on a specialty of the chef such as macaroons or choux pastry …

The most complete formula which includes the preparation of a complete menu accompanied by table service is approximately 4:00 to 4:30 but it is preferable to plan up to 5:00 just in case. The duration is not contractual and depends on the recipes that will be chosen. The cooking class will be approximately 3:00 – 3:30 and the rest of the time will be devoted to tasting. The pastry classes last approximately 3:00 – 3:30 and there is no tasting time to be expected, if the class is done at home, the chef will leave you once the preparations are finished, if the class is done in a private workshop, you will leave with your creations.

No, Chef Clément’s cooking classes are suitable for all levels and are accessible to all. However, if for example you would like a workshop to do with young children, the Chef can offer you a pastry class rather than a cooking class with adapted recipes. Each class is adapted and personalized to perfectly meet your expectations.

Cooking classes in private workshops are all-inclusive; namely cold drinks (including a glass of wine per person), unlimited hot drinks, ingredients to prepare your meal as well as rental of the venue. If you receive the chef at your rental or home, drinks are not included, to be provided by you, but the chef arrives with the necessary ingredients.

Of course, with Chef Clément, everything is possible. A workshop can be rented from one or two people for a private course. The needle workshop is very spacious and can accommodate up to 25 people, 30 maximum if there is no choice. Do not hesitate to contact the chef to check his availability.

You are invited to pay for your cooking class either in advance by transfer or PayPal including an additional fee or on the day.
