Learn more about Chef Clément

From a very young age, Chef Clément has been immersed in good food and French culinary traditions.

It is undoubtedly thanks to his mother that he began to develop a passion for cooking: no frozen meals at home, generous family cooking, and his hands in the kitchen from an early age.

It was in the Périgord that he was born (geese, ducks, foie gras, farm inns..), in Périgueux to be exact (near Bordeaux). It is certainly these incredible culinary experiences that put him on the path to this profession a few years later; he was already very gourmet. And perhaps also his Italian origins, close to Venice, have something to do with it.

Following a job transfer from his father, he arrived in Aix-en-Provence in year 2000 when he was only 9 years old. His passion for cooking grew stronger and at the age of 14, following his classical college course, he went to the Marseille cooking school to follow a 5-year training course.

Then comes the idea of cooking classes. In 2011, at the end of his professional training, he decided to start thinking about developing a cooking class activity. Because it finally corresponded to everything he was looking for: Work in complete autonomy / Sharing and meetings / No routine / No development limits.
I am passionate about cooking, passionate about meeting people, passionate about sharing; this is why I created my “dream job”. I couldn't see myself locked in a restaurant kitchen without any contact with customers. I look forward to meeting you for a unique experience.

online classes with chef clément

Online cooking classes

In 2019, a few months before the Covid pandemic, he launched his online cooking school called Visiochef. In 2 years, Visiochef has become a benchmark for on-demand videoconference cooking classes; No. 1 in France (in natural SEO on Google France) for the “online cooking class” request.

Her online cooking classes come in two forms: Video sessions recorded from her kitchen in French and accessible at any time around specific themes as well as live cooking classes via Zoom around the same recipe and the same ingredients.

During the Covid years, the Chef was able to host hundreds of cooking classes by videoconference, sometimes in English and for up to 400 people simultaneously.

The largest companies in France have also placed their trust in him for remote team building activity and this is how in two years, he has accumulated more than 200 references without advertising (Solely thanks to word of mouth and thanks to the high-impact brand he created). Here are some examples of brands you should know that have chosen Chef Clément to host their online event: Total, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Fedex, Syngenta, Procter & Gamble, Booking, Pirelli, BNP, Accor, Takeda, HDI ...

Olive oil producer

Since 2023, Chef Clément has taken on a new challenge. He became a farmer thanks to his retired father. He takes over an olive grove located in Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts, near Marseille, with more than 1000 olive trees.

He created the L'huile des Remparts brand and began marketing it at the end of 2023. Following poor maintenance of the operation, several years will be necessary to achieve stable production. Nevertheless, the finished product is of exceptional quality and the best reward of this new mission.

The oil is sold according to availability during cooking classes as well as for sale online on the website www.lhuiledesremparts.com

For the moment, since there is no construction on the farm, it is not possible to organize tourist visits. However, this project remains under study. So, maybe one day!
